MLA Chhina and DC discuss NHAI, MC and PSPCL projects

Ludhiana South MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina and Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal on Thursday held a meeting to review the ongoing projects of NHAI, MCL and PSPCL.

While taking stock of the physical and fiscal status of projects, MLA Chhina and Deputy Commissioner asked the NHAI officials to immediately shift the RMC plant from Sherpur Chowk before March 31. Besides, they also told the NHAI to ensure the water does not accumulate in the Sherpur Chowk as this causes problems for the commuters. They stated that NHAI must hold consultations with Municipal  Corporation Ludhiana (MCL) before repair work.

The MLA and DC also issued orders to NHAI to immediately remove all black spots which are causing mishaps.

Further, talks were also held regarding the immediate starting of the 66-kv power grid in Lohara to ensure uninterrupted supply of the electricity to the people.

MLA and DC highlighted that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed for the all-around development of the Ludhiana and every effort is being made to early completion of these development projects to facilitate the people.
