Inspection of Schools and Ration depots by Member, Punjab State Food Commission

Preeti Chawla, Member, Punjab State Food Commission visited District Fatehgarh Sahib and inspected various schemes under National Food Security Act 2013.

On this occasion, she visited Elementary School Chunni Khurd, Government Elementary Super Smart School, Khera, Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Chunni Kalan, Government Elementary Self Smart School, Sarkpara, Government Elementary School, Behla Khanpur, Government Elementary Smart School, Badali Ala Singh, Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Badali Ala Singh, and also inspectes Ration Depot Badali Ala Singh and Ration Depot Chunni Khurd.

Preeti Chawla reviewed the mid day meal prepared in the schools and expressed satisfaction in this regard. She also asked to sort out the problems related with the basic infrastructure of the schools. She instructed that the staff preparing the mid-meal should always pay attention to cleanliness and ensure compliance with all the rules in this regard. While checking the ration depots, she checked the e-POS machines and storage facilities and everything was found in order.

Member, Punjab State Food Commission also checked the Anganwadi centers and during this she inspected the registers of the centers and expressed satisfaction. Officials of various departments were present on this occasion.
