State tax dept distributes certificates among students

Ludhiana, Feb 20- The Deputy commissioner of state tax Randhir Kaur, Assistant Commissioner of state tax Ludhiana-5 Dr Harsimrat Grewal on Thursday distributed certificates appreciation to students of Gulzar Group of colleges, AS group of Institute, Khanna and Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology for participating in survey for registration under GST where in the students along with taxation officials helped in identifying the taxable persons in the field liable for registration and contributed to government revenue.

The students were enlightened about various aspects of GST and Mera bill app of the department. This exercise created awareness among the people and motivated students to become responsible citizens.
