Patiala, November 14:
- MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli inaugurated the construction of new roads and streets in Patiala's Lahori Gate area today, marking the start of a project valued at 66 lakh rupees. He stated that the restoration work on roads, which had been excavated by L&T for the installation of pipelines to provide 24/7 canal water supply, is progressing rapidly and will be completed soon. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Rajat Oberoi, Joint Commissioner Deepjot Kaur, and XEN Water Supply Vikas Dhawan were present at the event.
- Highlighting the government’s commitment, MLA Kohli emphasized that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has placed a strong focus on Patiala’s overall development and is personally tracking progress reports. Kohli noted that this new project, with a budget of 66 lakh rupees, will bring significant improvements to the daily lives of residents in several areas, including Chicka Wali Gali, Karkhas Colony, Mahajan Gali, Chanan Dogra, and Mahashian Wali Gali near Division No. 4, as well as other neighborhoods within Lahori Gate.
